I had the pleasure of designing a logo and brand identity for Lendox, a new loans and customers management system that will be used by Soaren Management’s loan specialists and customer service agents.
Lead designer
Logo, color palette, brand style guide

Fortunately, I’m already familiar with the product since I’ve also been working on the product as its UX designer. Once I got assigned this project, the first thing I did was brainstorm with the company’s Director of Marketing. We talked about how the "ox" in Lendox should represent strength, dependability, and hard work.
After I dived deep into my research on oxen’s anatomy, I then started sketching some ideas on paper. When designing a logo, I usually sketch approximately 20-50 ideas until I have a few designs that will move on to the next step.
When creating the vector logos in Adobe Illustrator, I utilized the golden ratio as a guide to make them look visually pleasing. I also use geometry to make the logo pixel-perfect.
Being aware that the brand’s color palette is not only being used in the logo but also on any marketing material and the product’s UI, I checked each color choice to make sure that once we applied them to the design system they will have high enough contrast ratio to pass the contrast ratio required by Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
