Project 1: Customer self-verification for loan application
The self-verification flow allows both new and past users to verify their information when they apply for a loan from our clients.
The challenge:
How do we ensure that the users carefully and accurately review their information and terms without overwhelming them with the lengthy content?
Solution 1: Breaking down the complicated process into 5 steps
I simplified the flow into 5 steps and visually present the progress bar at the top so the users can keep track of their progress.
For the returning customers’ flow, we pull the information from their last loan application, reducing the steps they have to take when applying for a new loan.
Solution 2: Present the terms to users one at a time
One of the design challenges we concluded from our survey is that some users scanned through their terms and loan details very quickly and missed some crucial information. They later discovered that their loan amount or interest rates are incorrect. To prevent this issue, we present them with the terms one at a time and give them a chance to correct their information as they go.

Project 2: Redial website design
I had the pleasure of redesigning one of our client’s websites. I was responsible for both UX design and visual concept. I also built the entire website myself on WordPress using my HTML & CSS knowledge.
