Soaren Management plans to redesign all five of our client’s websites in 2023. Our clients are multi-million dollar companies who offer financial products and top-notch customer service to their customers. As the lead designer of this project, I’m taking a user-centered approach because this is a great opportunity to conduct user research and discover any user pain points. This project requires thoughtful planning and collaboration between different teams because these websites touch many of our SaaS products and it is crucial to keep the companies’ design and brand identity consistent.

Oct 2022 - Present (Work in progress)
Using the user-centered design process as our UX framework, I constructed a high-level plan of action, tools, and proposed timeline.
We ran a 5-question user survey across all 5 websites. I then analyzed and presented the results to the stakeholders. I also conducted log analytics by utilizing heat maps and Google Analytics. From this foundational user research, we were able to better understand our users and identify user pain points. Additionally, a competitive audit has also been conducted.
I had the pleasure of hosting and running a “Mini Design Sprint.” It was a 2 hours long brainstorm session with my colleagues from other departments. We shared ideas using core Design Sprint methods like “How Might We” and “Crazy 8’s”
The design sprint was a success and we shared some great ideas and solutions to our pain points.
This project requires thoughtful planning and collaboration between different teams because the new design system will also need to be applied to all of our products to keep our design and branding consistent. I created a map that outlines the high-level project plan across the affected departments.
Based on feedback from the survey, some users who are seeking a personal loan mentioned that they are facing a stressful time. I want the design to be bright, inviting, and friendly to help lessen the pressure.
I am actively working on this project with my team at Soaren Management. We’re currently in the early visual design stage. Stay tuned for more updates!
